TECHNET

In Narrative Exposure Therapy, the therapist relies largely on their own subjective observation to assess the patient’s emotional state during the session. As part of the FAIR Extended Partnership (PNRR Mission 4), TECHNET is responding by developing an automated emotion analysis system designed to complement—not replace—the therapist’s clinical judgment.

Objectives

• Assess the feasibility of an automated system for analyzing facial and vocal emotions during NET sessions
• Improve therapist-patient interaction and monitor treatment progress with objective evidence
• Explore applications in the workplace, education, and organizational settings, in addition to the clinical setting
