Data controller

The data controller is 7hc Srl, registered office at Via Marcantonio Colonna 7, 00192 Rome (IT), VAT 15427041007.

Data collected

The site collects data voluntarily provided by users when contacting the company (e.g. by email), as well as technical data automatically collected by the content delivery system (IP address, user agent, requested resource, date and time, referrer), for security and diagnostic purposes. This data is retained for 14 days, after which it is automatically deleted, and is stored on servers located in Ireland (European Union).

The site also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics and Google Search Console as statistical analysis tools. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or persistent identifiers and does not perform individual user profiling; the data collected (pages visited, traffic source, device type) is processed in aggregate form solely to understand how the site is used. Google Search Console does not install tracking tools on the site and does not collect visitors' personal data: it only provides 7HC with aggregate statistics on how the site appears in search results.

The site does not track clicks on individual links and does not carry out any form of individual user profiling. The site does not use automated decision-making, including profiling, pursuant to Art. 22 GDPR.

Purposes of processing

Data is processed to respond to requests submitted by users, ensure the correct functioning and security of the site, and carry out aggregate statistical analysis of site usage.

Legal basis

Processing is based on the Data Controller's legitimate interest in responding to requests received, ensuring the security of the site, and understanding its usage through aggregate statistics. Data may also be processed in fulfilment of legal obligations, such as responding to legitimate requests from judicial or public security authorities.

Recipients of data

Data is processed, as data processor, by Amazon Web Services (AWS), the provider of hosting and content delivery (CDN) services. The primary storage of data, including technical logs, takes place on servers located in Ireland (European Union). For content-delivery optimisation purposes, the traffic of some visitors may also be routed through nodes located in the United States or Canada; in such cases, the extra-EU transfer takes place in accordance with the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by AWS.

Cloudflare, a US-based provider, safeguards any data transferred outside the EU through the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, for transfers to the United States, through its certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Retention period

Data provided by email is retained for 12 months from the last contact, unless the request leads to a contractual relationship, in which case the retention periods set by civil and tax law apply (up to 10 years from the termination of the relationship, pursuant to Art. 2946 of the Italian Civil Code).

Technical access logs are retained for 14 days, after which they are automatically deleted.

Data collected via Cloudflare Web Analytics is processed in aggregate form and does not allow individual users to be identified; no personal identifier associated with browsing activity is retained.

Data subject rights

As a data subject, users may exercise at any time the rights set out in Articles 15 et seq. of the GDPR:

• access their personal data and obtain a copy of it
• request rectification or updating of it
• request erasure, in the cases provided for by law
• request restriction of processing
• object to processing
• lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of the EU Member State where the data subject habitually resides, works, or where the alleged infringement occurred
